Qui sommes-nous ?
Jacques Baudry, ingénieur agronome, docteur ès Sciences, est un écologue du paysage, ancien directeur de rechercher à l’INRAE qui a reçu le Distinguished Scholarship Award from the International Association of Landscape Ecology (IALE) en 2007 pour sa contribution au développement de l’écologie du paysage. Il a établi et animé de 1993 à 2011 la zone atelier Armorique et animé des programmes de recherche centrés sur les relations entre agriculture et biodiversité pour le ministère en charge de l’environnement entre 1987 et 2016.
Françoise Burel, ingénieure agronome, docteur ès Sciences, est une écologue du paysage, ancienne directrice de rechercher au CNRS. Elle a reçu en 2009 la médaille d’argent du CNRS qui récompense un ensemble de recherche de haute qualité. Elle est membre correspondante des Académies d’Agriculture de France et de Suède.
Notre objectif : développer l’écologie du paysage comme science pour l’action dans le domaine de l’aménagement des paysages
Who we are
Jacques Baudry (jacques.baudry@ecoplame.eu), agricultural engineer and Doctor of Science, is a landscape ecologist and former research director at INRAE who received the Distinguished Scholarship Award from the International Association of Landscape Ecology (IALE) in 2007 for his contribution to the development of landscape ecology. From 1993 to 2011, he established and led the Armorique Long Term Ecological Research site, and from 1987 to 2016, he led research programs focusing on the relationship between agriculture and biodiversity for the French Ministry of the Environment.
Françoise Burel (francoise.burel@univ-rennes1.fr), agricultural engineer and Doctor of Science, is a landscape ecologist and Emeritus Director of Research at the CNRS. In 2009, she was awarded the CNRS Silver Medal for a body of high-quality research. She is a corresponding member of the French and Swedish Academies of Agriculture.
Our aim: to develop landscape ecology as a science for action to foster landscape planning and management.
